“What's also remarkable is the overall quality of the bands participating. We're of course dealing with bands featuring a female singer, mainly metal, but not a single of them sounds like a Nightwish or After Forever clone. There is a wide variety in both styles and sounds, bearing in mind that most of these bands offer self-released material (whilst the rest are signed on small independent labels) it shows that we have nothing to fear for the future of the femme metal genre.” Beat the Blizzard, September 2008
“This cd is definitely worth purchasing and you will be making a difference as well as buying an awesome package. Great work and a pat on the back to all those involved around the world that helped make this release possible.” Devolution Magazine, November 2008
“Now this is a very interesting compilation CD from a new Dutch label called ANTHEM RECORDS. All included bands are good and of a high level, so no amateurism can be found here and the good thing is that the CD costs only 6 UK POUNDS. Supporting and buying this excellent CD is not only good for yourself as all the money will go to the Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK.” 8.8/10, Strutter Magazine, January 2009
“With 15-songs and over 70-minutes worth of powerful music, this CD should provide a great resource for fans who are always on the lookout for new bands to support. The spotlight is shone brightly on these 15 bands, who each bring something unique and interesting to the table. This is truly a great collection of songs and bands that should please not only fans of the femme metal genre, but fans of music in general. The packaging, layout and artwork also deserve a special mention. Plus, it's all for a good cause.” 9/10, Femme Metal Webzine, January 2009
