Having a diverse cultural backround containing an Aruban lead singer, Dutch drummer, Polish piano player, Indian backing vocalist, Dutch saxophone player and an Indian bass player they are well rounded musicians.

Vincent Tonk who is the Lead Guitarist/Lead Vocals grew up on Aruba so was always in contact with the Reggae and Rock vibe on the Island. He was always and still is inspired by great bands such as Sublime, Nirvana, Bob marley and many more! He knew exactly what he wanted to do with music so went of to Holland to start his dream!

While studying music in Holland with Sharen Singh (Bass), they immediatly started sharing their love for reggae music. Jamming together whenever they got the chance. Finally Vincent got introduced to Guido Van de Wijdeven (Drums) and together they formed "OFFSHORE"

Now existing for a year and a half they have grown from three members to six. Daniel with his insane keyboard skills joined the crew, so did Sharen's cousin Yash on backing Vocals and percussion. And to add a bit more flavour to their sound Simon joined with his Saxophone making their trademark mixes even fatter!

You can't compare their music with any other band out there. They have a very unique style and you will feel their music straight away! All of them are well rounded musicians, all studying music and having their own distinct backround. A lot of people have said that their live act is even more powerful than their CD so dont hesitate to check them out when theyre in town!

"THEY WILL ROCK YOU'RE SOCKS OFF"

They have been spotted at great venue's in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Den Haag, such as
Meander , Sugar Factory, Watt, Patronaat, Paard van troje and many more.

They also managed to win Dunya on Tour and played on Dunya festival Rotterdam. Last summer they toured in Liverpool and Aruba! They released their debut album in July 2009.
